How does TeeBox work?
TeeBox makes booking golf tee times seamless. You can search across thousands of courses, set alerts, join waitlists, or have us book a time automatically when it matches your preferences. You choose your preferred date, course(s), player count, time window, and budget—and TeeBox takes care of the rest.
What makes TeeBox different from other booking platforms?
TeeBox provides:

How much does TeeBox cost?
- Booking Fee: $5 per player, only when a booking is confirmed
- Subscriptions: Starting at $9.99/month for discounts, alerts, and included bookings
- Your first booking is free (up to $20)
What are the subscription options?
- Free Tier: Basic booking access (credit card required)
- Basic Tier ($9.99/month): Alerts, 2 free bookings/month, 30% off additional bookings
- Premium Tier (coming soon): More bookings, free cancellations, and advanced features
How do alerts and waitlists work?
You can create alerts to monitor preferred times at specific courses. We'll notify you via SMS or email when a match is found. If you enable auto-booking and have a card on file, we'll complete the reservation for you instantly.
What if a course requires online pre-payment?
TeeBox places a hold for the total course fee, plus a 3% processing surcharge. The funds are used to prepay the course through our virtual credit cards when needed.
What happens if I miss my tee time?
If the course charges us a no-show or cancellation fee, it will be forwarded to you along with a 3% processing fee. These policies vary by course.
How far in advance can I book tee times?
That depends on the course's booking policy. Some release times 5–7 days in advance, others 30–90 days. TeeBox checks availability around the clock and captures times the moment they become bookable.
Can I cancel a tee time?
- Free & Basic Tiers: All booking fees are non-refundable
- Premium Tier (future): Free cancellations within the course's cancellation window (typically 24–48 hours)
- For last-minute cancellations, we recommend calling the course directly
Is TeeBox available nationwide?
Yes. TeeBox supports over 4,000 courses today and aims to reach 10,000+ by summer 2025.
How secure is my payment and personal information?
We use Stripe for payments and virtual credit card issuance. We never store your full card details. Notification preferences are managed securely through NotificationAPI. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Is there a mobile app?
TeeBox is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it by visiting TeeBox.golf in your mobile browser and adding it to your home screen for full app-like functionality.
What happens after I place a booking request?
Our system checks continuously for matching tee times. Once a match is found, we notify you and complete the booking automatically if enabled. You'll receive full confirmation details via email and SMS.
How will I be notified?
You'll receive alerts via SMS and/or email, based on your preferences. This includes booking confirmations, alerts, changes, and reminders.
